Masumi Yamamoto, Takako Minami

Masumi Yamamoto and Takako Minami (www.takakominami.com) gave their debut as a duo at St. George’s Bristol in 2009 promoted by the Anglo-Japanese Society of Wessex. Since then, they have performed at venues in London and York and will make an appearance at the Handel House Museum in 2012. Both Masumi and Takako are solo harpichordists in their own right and lead busy schedules as solo recitalists and chamber musicians.
They are dedicated to bringing rarely-performed masterpieces written for two harpsichords to today’s audience, and their repertoire includes:

Anonymous
- Sonata a due Cembali

François Couperin (1668-1733)
- Allemande à deux Clavecins
from Neuviême Ordre, Secondo livre de Pièces de clavecin (1717)
